Founded in 2003 through a management buy-out, Namibia Equity Brokers (Pty) Ltd was incorporated in July 1998. In 2004, well-known entrepreneurs, Frank Fredericks and Sidney Martin, become both shareholders and directors, with Frank being the current chairman.
In 2008 Madelein Smith took over the reins from its founder, Wilfred Moroff. Still Namibia’s only female operating stockbroker, Madelein brings 16 years of experience in the financial services sector to the table.
